Tour Plan

Itinerary
Cape Town Central

Our tour begins with a pick-up at your accommodation in Cape Town at 8:00 am (flexible). This all-inclusive private tour takes you to Table Mountain, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, and the Cape of Good Hope. We start with a brief orientation of the city, driving through the center where your TOS Travel and Tours guide will point out historical monuments and museums to set the context for the rest of the tour.

Bo-Kaap

Our first stop is Bo-Kaap, formerly known as the Cape Malay Quarter. Here, you can take memorable photos with the brightly colored houses. Your TOS Travel and Tours guide will share fascinating stories about the history and heritage of this community, which traces its roots back to Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, and Sri Lanka. Don’t miss the chance to taste traditional Cape Malay treats like samoosas and koeksisters, available from local vendors.

Table Mountain National Park Area Cable Car

Next, we head to the Table Mountain Cableway Station. We’ll take the cable car to the summit of one of the Seven Wonders of Nature, where you can explore and enjoy panoramic views of Cape Town. If the weather is unfavorable, we’ll reschedule this visit for the end of the day.

KINDLY NOTE THAT THE TABLE MOUNTAIN CABLE CAR IS OPEN SUBJECT TO CONDUCIVE WEATHER. IN THE EVENT THAT TABLE MOUNTAIN IS CLOSED DUE TO BAD WEATHER, YOU HAVE AN OPTION TO KEEP THE TICKETS FOR ANOTHER DAY OR REQUEST A REFUND FOR THE TABLE MOUNTAIN TICKETS.

Clifton (Maiden's Cove)

Clifton is renowned for having some of the most expensive villas in Africa. Apart from its reputation as a millionaire's enclave, it also features four stunning public beaches. These beaches offer breathtaking views and are perfect for relaxation.
Located just outside the city center along the Atlantic seaboard, Camps Bay is often called the Beverly Hills of Cape Town. It offers some of the most spectacular views in the area. We'll stop at Maiden's Cove, a scenic spot that provides fantastic views of Camps Bay.

Duration: 15 minutes

Chapman's Peak Drive

Departing from Hout Bay, we drive along the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive and stop at a viewpoint for photos. This route is renowned for its breathtaking views and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful drives.

Cape of Good Hope

We then explore the Cape of Good Hope, where you can take an iconic photo with the name board. You’ll also see the Dias and Vasco Da Gama monuments, beautiful beaches, and various flora and fauna.

Duration: 20 minutes

Cape Point

At Cape Point, we choose between a 15-minute hike or a ride on the Flying Dutchman Funicular to the lighthouse. This is the most south-western point of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. The Two Oceans Restaurant is an excellent option for a sit-down lunch if it’s open, or you can grab a light takeaway lunch.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony

Our next stop is Boulders Beach, where you’ll see the African penguins up close. Your guide will take you to the viewing point where you might even spot a few penguins walking alongside you on the boardwalk.
