Tour Plan

Itinerary
Muizenberg (St James)

Muizenberg Beach is a popular surfing spot, known for its colourful beach huts that make for great photos. If time permits and traffic is reasonable, we'll make a final photo stop before returning to Cape Town to end the tour.

Duration: 10 minutes

Kalk Bay Harbour (Pass By)

We drive past Kalk Bay Harbour which is more like a fishing village, with the fishing boats docking and the fish traders praising their catch. Fresh fish are available for puchase here on a daily basis. The sights, smells and refreshing sea air are nothing less than spectacular.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony (Simon's Town)

Home to thousands of African penguins, Boulders Beach is one of Africa's only three mainland penguin colonies. These endangered birds, also known as "jackass penguins" for their braying calls, can be observed from a boardwalk that allows for close-up photos without disturbing them. Named after a 17th-century Cape Dutch governor, Simon's Town is famous for its fresh seafood and fish restaurants. It is also home to the South African Navy and the African penguins of Boulders Beach.

Duration: 1 Hour

Table Mountain National Park Cape of Good Hope

Table Mountain National Park Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and the local fauna, is a 7,700-hectare park and UNESCO World Heritage site. Home to the Cape Point Lighthouse and the Cape of Good Hope, this area has more plant and rare species than any other floral kingdom. You might even spot some wildlife.

Duration: 1 Hour

Cape of Good Hope

The Cape of Good Hope is known for its rugged coastline, rough waters, and historical significance. Early sailors called it the corner of Africa. Here, you can hike to the summit and take a photo with the famous sign: "Welcome to the Cape of Good Hope!"

Duration: 20 minutes

Cape Point Lighthouse

A paved path from the Cape Point car park leads to the third-oldest lighthouse in the country. Though it was decommissioned in 1919, the lighthouse offers great views and photo opportunities. A funicular is available for those who prefer not to walk.

Duration: 1 Hour

Chapman's Peak

Chapman's Peak Drive, carved out of the mountains between 1915 and 1922, links Hout Bay with the southern peninsula towns. Known locally as "Chapies," this 9km road winds along steep mountains that drop dramatically into the Atlantic. With 114 curves, each offering unique views, there are many spots to stop and take photos.
