Days 1-4: Cape Town and Surroundings

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your TOS Travel and Tours representative. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to unwind and explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2: Table Mountain & Robben Island
Start your day with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of Cape Town and the ocean. Later, board a ferry to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years. Discover South Africa’s powerful history through guided tours led by former inmates.

Day 3: Cape Peninsula – Cape Point & Boulders Beach
Embark on a full-day Cape Peninsula tour. Travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive, visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, and climb up to Cape Point Lighthouse. Continue to Boulders Beach to meet the famous African penguins before returning via the charming coastal towns of Simon’s Town and Muizenberg.

Day 4: Stellenbosch & Franschhoek Wine Route
Spend the day in the Cape Winelands, exploring the picturesque towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy wine tastings at some of the region’s most celebrated estates, learn about local viticulture, and indulge in the refined culinary culture that defines South Africa’s wine country.

Day 5: Safari at Aquila Game Reserve (1 Night)

Depart early from Cape Town to Aquila Private Game Reserve, located about 2.5 hours away. After check-in and lunch at the lodge, set out on a 4x4 safari in search of Africa’s Big Five: lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Aquila Lodge.
An optional early-morning safari is available before departure the next day.

Day 6: Aquila → Oudtshoorn (1 Night)

Journey along the scenic Route 62, passing through the semi-arid landscapes of the Little Karoo. Visit the spectacular Cango Caves, one of South Africa’s natural wonders, and tour an ostrich farm to learn about these fascinating birds.

Days 7-10: Knysna / Plettenberg Bay (4 Nights)

Travel towards the coast to reach the heart of the Garden Route. Explore the lagoon town of Knysna, famous for its oysters and picturesque waterfront, and enjoy a boat cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.

Discover Plettenberg Bay and the Robberg Nature Reserve, where hiking trails and ocean views await. Continue to Tsitsikamma National Park to walk across its famous suspension bridge, surrounded by ancient forests and dramatic coastal cliffs.
Enjoy free time for optional activities such as beach relaxation, local markets, or adventure sports.

Day 11: Return to Cape Town or Port Elizabeth

After breakfast, your journey concludes with a scenic transfer back to Cape Town or Port Elizabeth Airport, depending on your travel plans. Assistance is provided for your onward flight.
