Itinerary
Bo-Kaap

Soon after the tour starts, we'll stop at the vibrant Bo-Kaap. This historic neighborhood in Cape Town, also known as the Malay Quarter, is famous for its brightly colored houses and rich cultural history. As one of the oldest areas in the city, Bo-Kaap offers more than just colorful buildings. You'll have the chance to walk around, take photos, and learn about its heritage from your TOS Travel and Tours guide.

Clifton (Maiden's Cove)

Clifton is renowned for having some of the most expensive villas in Africa. Apart from its reputation as a millionaire's enclave, it also features four stunning public beaches. These beaches offer breathtaking views and are perfect for relaxation.
Located just outside the city center along the Atlantic seaboard, Camps Bay is often called the Beverly Hills of Cape Town. It offers some of the most spectacular views in the area. We'll stop at Maiden's Cove, a scenic spot that provides fantastic views of Camps Bay.

Hout Bay (Seal Island)

Known affectionately as "The Republic of Hout Bay," this beautiful town is surrounded by mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. With no neighboring towns, the three roads leading to Hout Bay all pass over mountain passes, adding to its secluded charm.
Hop on a boat for a scenic 40-minute trip to Duiker Island, home to over 4,000 Cape fur seals. This excursion offers a close-up look at the vibrant marine life of the area.

Chapman's Peak

Chapman's Peak Drive, carved out of the mountains between 1915 and 1922, links Hout Bay with the southern peninsula towns. Known locally as "Chapies," this 9km road winds along steep mountains that drop dramatically into the Atlantic. With 114 curves, each offering unique views, there are many spots to stop and take photos.

Noordhoek Farm Village (optional)

At the southern end of Chapman's Peak Drive lies Noordhoek Farm Village, nestled in the lush retirement village of Noordhoek. The village is home to The Village Roast, a coffee shop boasting the best coffee in the area. You can also find fresh juices and small shops selling locally made crafts.

Cape Point Ostrich Farm(optional)

Before entering the Cape of Good Hope National Park, you'll pass an ostrich farm. If you'd like, we can make a quick stop to take photos of Africa's largest flightless bird.
Table Mountain National Park Cape of Good Hope
Table Mountain National Park Cape of Good Hope, part of the Cape Floral Kingdom and the local fauna, is a 7,700-hectare park and UNESCO World Heritage site. Home to the Cape Point Lighthouse and the Cape of Good Hope, this area has more plant and rare species than any other floral kingdom. You might even spot some wildlife.

Cape of Good Hope

The Cape of Good Hope is known for its rugged coastline, rough waters, and historical significance. Early sailors called it the corner of Africa. Here, you can hike to the summit and take a photo with the famous sign: "Welcome to the Cape of Good Hope!"

Cape Point Lighthouse

A paved path from the Cape Point car park leads to the third-oldest lighthouse in the country. Though it was decommissioned in 1919, the lighthouse offers great views and photo opportunities. A funicular is available for those who prefer not to walk.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony (Simon's Town)

Home to thousands of African penguins, Boulders Beach is one of Africa's only three mainland penguin colonies. These endangered birds, also known as "jackass penguins" for their braying calls, can be observed from a boardwalk that allows for close-up photos without disturbing them. Named after a 17th-century Cape Dutch governor, Simon's Town is famous for its fresh seafood and fish restaurants. It is also home to the South African Navy and the African penguins of Boulders Beach.

Muizenberg (Replace with St James)

Muizenberg Beach is a popular surfing spot, known for its colorful beach huts that make for great photos. If time permits and traffic is reasonable, we'll make a final photo stop before returning to Cape Town to end the tour.
